NEW YORK, NEW YORK — July 20, 2026 — DRC congratulates its client Bartlit Beck, led by trial team leads Scott McBride and Nosson Knobloch, on its $229 million jury verdict for Viasat, Inc. in Viasat, Inc. v. Kioxia Corporation et al, No. 6:21-cv-01231 (W.D. Tex.), before U.S. District Judge Alan Albright. Following a four-day patent trial in Waco, Texas, the jury deliberated for less than half a day before finding that Kioxia infringed Viasat's patent on forward error correction technology used in NAND flash memory.
