As a Director of Litigation Strategy at DRC, Mark Salomon, Esq. plays a crucial role in supporting clients with strategic thinking and trial preparation that drives favorable outcomes. His unique value lies in his ability to combine legal acumen with psychological insights, crafting trial strategies that are both persuasive and effective. Mark’s dedication to client success is reflected in his thorough and thoughtful approach to every stage of litigation.
Before joining DRC, Mark worked as a litigator for over five years in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis. While there, he represented clients across an array of industries, including private equity firms, social media companies, biopharma corporations, life sciences companies, and consumer goods providers. Mark has practiced in both federal and various state courts, including in the areas of M&A and capital markets litigation, securities and shareholder litigation, and claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and tortious interference.
He also has significant experience handling investigations conducted by various government and non-government agencies, including the DOJ, CFTC, U.S. Attorneys’ Offices, and FINRA, among others. Mark has received awards and been recognized for his robust pro bono practice, which has included representing a death row inmate seeking post-conviction relief, assisting individuals in obtaining asylum and other immigration status-related relief, and arguing a direct criminal appeal before the New York Appellate Division.
Mark received his J.D. from New York University School of Law and his B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Michigan.
