Linda Moreno is a Jury Consultant and Strategy Advisor at DRC. With a career and reputation built on some of the most complex and controversial cases in modern legal history, Linda uses her analytical and intuitive insights to provide a comprehensive advantage in court, helping to craft winning trial narratives and guiding strategic decisions from voir dire through closing argument.

A nationally prominent criminal defense attorney, Linda has tried over one hundred jury trials across the United States, specializing in complex litigation involving white collar crime, espionage, and national security. She played a key role in guiding jury selection and strategy for the defense in United States v. Sean Diddy Combs, a case in which Combs was acquitted of the most serious charges. She also helped select the jury for Elizabeth Holmes in the Theranos trial, where Ms. Holmes was acquitted on eight charges and convicted on the remaining charges. Her successful defense of Noor Salman—the widow of the Pulse nightclub shooter—resulted in full acquittal, marking the first terrorism-related trial victory of its kind in the U.S. since 9/11.

Linda’s diverse clientele has included actor Wesley Snipes, Professor Sami al Arian, the chairman of the Holy Land Foundation, and Guantanamo detainee Mohamedou Salahi. She has also been retained by foreign embassies to defend their nationals in American courts, and has held a Security Clearance enabling her to review classified evidence under appropriate protocols.

Linda lectures widely on human rights, civil liberties, and anti-Muslim bias in jury trials, and has taught trial advocacy from Los Angeles to London. She was invited by the Nobel Peace Center to speak in Oslo on terrorism prosecutions post-9/11. She is an International Associate Tenant at 5 King’s Bench Walk Chambers in London, England, a prestigious set leading the field in white collar crime and regulatory work, and home to some of the biggest names and the very best at the Criminal Bar. Additionally, she has served as Co-Chair of the National Security Committee of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Her legal insights have been featured on CNN, BBC, NPR, ABC, NBC, CBS, Al Jazeera, and in publications including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and The National Law Journal. Additionally, she has spoken at the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Columbia University, Yale University, Georgetown University, and other prestigious institutions.

Linda earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School and her B.A. from the University of Southern California.
