As Vice President, Trial Support & Litigation Technology, James Haase leads DRC’s group of more than 30 litigation design strategists and information design artists in delivering high‑impact visual strategies for complex litigation. Based in Manhattan, the litigation capital of the world, James partners closely with trial teams to perform case analysis, develop presentation strategy, and direct the creation of persuasive visual concepts across every stage of the litigation lifecycle.

James brings a deeply strategic and hands‑on approach to trial graphics. He provides senior‑level art direction while shaping creative solutions across electronic, print, and physical media. Under his leadership, DRC produces demonstrative evidence designed to clarify complex expert testimony, support oral advocacy, convey damages theories, and maximize audience comprehension in high‑stakes courtroom and arbitration settings. Whether developing a single graphic for an initial pleading, visuals for a mock trial, or a multi‑hundred‑slide closing argument for an international arbitration, James and his team immerse themselves in the details of each dispute to deliver visual strategies that add lasting impact to legal arguments.

James was the CEO and Founder of Immersion Legal until it was integrated into DRC in 2026, following its acquisition by the company in 2025. Prior to that, James served as a Managing Director at an industry leading litigation consulting firm. Earlier in his career, he was the lead graphic designer for a global hedge fund managing tens of billions of dollars in assets and completed freelance design work for major financial institutions, including Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, Citigroup, and Ernst & Young.
