Real Feedback from Real Jurors
DRC’s jury focus groups are designed to simulate the presentation of key evidence and reveal how real jurors will decide your case. By testing themes, evidence, and witnesses with demographically representative panels, we provide trial teams with actionable insights that shape strategy, guide settlement decisions, and anticipate verdict outcomes.
Our focus groups reveal how real jurors think and why in every type of case.
“Truly indispensable jury services. Don't go to trial without consulting them first.”
Michael L. Bloch, Partner, Bloch & White LLP
“I cannot imagine working on an important case without this team. Their insights regarding case strategy and persuasive demonstrative aids are an invaluable asset to my firm."
Jay Eisenhofer, Managing Director, Grant & Eisenhofer, P.A
“The best thing they do is when they brainstorm with us and the client and work with us on trial themes and strategies.”
Business Owner, DRC Client
“The rigor and candor with which they examine the facts, they let you know what your blemishes are. They do a better job at analyzing the other side than the other side does, which is really important.”
In-house Counsel, DRC Client
“Friends don't let friends go to trial without the DRC team."
Partner, Freshfields US LLP
How DRC’s Jury Focus Groups Make an Impact
Jurors process facts through life experiences, value-beliefs, and emotional resonance. DRC’s focus groups help you understand how those filters shape verdicts.
- Identify persuasive and problematic case themes
- Test demonstrative aids and witness effectiveness
- Correlate juror demographics with decision-making
- Develop deselection profiles for jury selection
- Reveal emotional and cognitive biases that influence outcomes
our approach
We recruit as many as 100 jury-eligible participants who match the demographics of the venire. Each juror completes a pre-stimulus questionnaire to assess value-beliefs and life experiences. Case presentations are delivered using DRC’s single-presenter format. Under DRC’s single-presenter format, the same presenter delivers both the plaintiff/government side of the case and the defense side of the case. This format eliminates presenter bias and ensures decision-making based on the evidence and facts of the case, not personalities.
Attorneys observe juror deliberations in real time, and all deliberations are recorded and transcribed. DRC facilitators guide discussions to elicit feedback on key issues and evidence. A live-stream of the presentations and jury deliberations is available for remote participants.
