Dubin Research & Consulting (DRC) is proud to announce that internationally respected jury consultant and trial attorney Linda Moreno has joined the firm as a Jury Consultant and Strategy Advisor. With a career and reputation forged in some of the most complex and controversial cases in modern legal history, Linda brings unparalleled expertise in criminal defense, jury selection, and trial strategy to DRC’s clients. She applies analytical and intuitive insights to deliver a comprehensive advantage in court.
“Linda is a singular force in the courtroom and a trusted advisor in the war room,” said DRC Founder Josh Dubin, Esq. “Her ability to navigate the most sensitive, high-profile, and politically charged cases while maintaining clarity, compassion, and strategic precision is unmatched. We are honored to welcome her to DRC.”

Linda is frequently retained by attorneys and clients in high-stakes litigation to lead jury selection and evaluate juror profiles. Her expertise has been sought by foreign embassies, international legal chambers, and defense teams across the United States and Europe. Her career is defined by landmark victories and fearless advocacy in cases involving terrorism, espionage, and white collar crime. She has:

  • Served as a jury consultant in the trials of Sean “Diddy” Combs and Elizabeth Holmes, helping shape jury selection strategies in two of the most closely watched trials in recent history.
  • Defended actor Wesley Snipes, resulting in acquittal on all felony charges.
  • Won the first full acquittal of terrorism charges in the U.S. since 9/11 in the trial of Noor Salman, widow of the Pulse nightclub shooter.
  • Defeated the government’s flagship Patriot Act prosecution in United States v. Dr. Sami Al-Arian, where the jury returned no guilty verdicts after a six-month trial.
  • Helped win the release of Guantanamo detainee Mohamedou Slahi, imprisoned without charge for over 15 years.
  • Transformed the case of an indicted Muslim in Detroit, originally portrayed as an Iraqi spy facing a 25-year sentence, into a humanitarian narrative—resulting in a sentence of less than one year.
  • Negotiated a plea in a high-profile terrorism case that led to the dismissal of 224 murder charges against her client.

“Joining DRC allows me to bring my courtroom and consulting experience to a broader range of clients facing the most critical moments of their legal lives,” said Linda. “I am excited to collaborate with DRC’s elite team to help clients navigate jury selection, trial strategy, and persuasion with clarity and confidence.”

Her achievements have earned her recognition throughout the international legal community as a pillar of knowledge and integrity. In the wake of 9/11, she was invited to Oslo by the Nobel Peace Center to speak on human rights in terrorism prosecutions. She is an International Associate Tenant at 5 King’s Bench Walk Chambers in London, England, a prestigious set leading the field in white collar crime and regulatory work, and home to some of the biggest names and the very best at the Criminal Bar. Additionally, she has been invited to teach trial advocacy from Los Angeles to London.

Linda is admitted to practice in California, Florida, and before the United States Supreme Court, and has held an active Security Clearance which had entitled her to review classified evidence, subject to appropriate rules. She previously served as Co-Chair of the National Security Committee for the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

She is also widely trusted by leading news outlets and has provided legal commentary on CNN, BBC, NPR, ABC, NBC, CBS, Al Jazeera, and in the pages of the New York Times, The Washington Post, The National Law Journal, and elsewhere.
